Day 14 Rest Day-packing, 9-22-14

Last day of this trip and unfortunately the end of many years of attending the absolutely fabulous Margaret Egli Thomson European painting trips (for me)--she is doing one more next year in Austria but I've been on that one so won't go again. We went up town early to walk, found the local weekly market, returned back, went back again for lunch with four friends, came back and packed, checked our reservations, paid our bill for extra food, etc. Relaxed, had our last supper and said farewell to 27 people most of whom we have traveled with for several years. Our last meal, superb as usual, was pasta, roast lamb with stuffed zucchini and pepper and three flavors of gelato--many, many hugs and kisses later we turned in.  Getting up for a pickup at 4 a.m. Many many thanks to Margaret and
