Closing reception tomorrow at Cutter Gallery, Nov. 25th.

It was a very good experience having this show in Arlington at the Jefferson Cutter House Gallery, many friends stopped in to see the show and from the balloon accessorized sandwich boards in the front and back of the gallery, many area residents stopped in as well.  I don't know how many area newspapers printed an announcement, but I contacted 16 papers.  The Boston Globe North put in a nice mention in the Sunday section for "in the galleries".  From those who voted for their favorite painting, I'll be drawing the winner of a small painting and announcing the winner as well as the painting that got the most votes.  Wine and cheese will be served as tomorrow is the last day of the show.  A hearty thank you to those who came by.

Last one for now

Last painting for the Bear Hill Road project that is...
Summer Shack - Bear Hill Road 12x12" original oil on stretched canvas
Since the other paintings were of different seasons, I wanted to add one for summer and this is it.
Last Sunday I had a few people visit the solo show in Arlington and next week is the closing reception as well as the day to draw for the winner of the "vote for your favorite" raffle.

This week I went in town for the International Fine Art Show at the Cyclorama, and it was excellent!  I also went to the Miniature Show at Rockport and enjoyed a quick visit and viewed all the small paintings done by members for the holiday shopping season.
